about

Ray Beadle - I have nothing but respect and admiration for both Clayton and Andrew. I had so much fun making this record. It means a lot to me that they have both joined me on this project.
I have been meaning to form an organ trio for many years. Playing these songs and interacting with Clayton and Andrew makes me feel rejuvenated and inspired. I know it seems strange to say but, after 30 years of playing I feel like this is only the beginning! I would like to thank my family for their love and support. Geoff Trio for creating so many great opportunities and helping me to believe in myself. Stewart Geddes for always making me feel comfortable to express myself freely in the studio. Australis Music & BHSS. The Interface Blue and Studio 301 family!

Clayton Doley - I love making music with these guys, it's natural, organic, and instinctive. It's as if we have been playing together all our lives, in a sense with Ray we have been playing together since
we were teenagers, but not playing this style of music, we come from a Blues background so this is an exciting new journey. I have been learning so much with this trio about groove and feel and phrasing, everything has just fallen into place perfectly, we each listen and respect and in turn play
in sympathy and support each other, it's a real connection. Playing with Andrew has given us a Jazz credibility and an authenticity that comes from his vast knowledge and experience of the genre, I am transported back to 1960's New York City everytime we play together. I could not be happier
with this record, I got to record some of my favorite songs with my favorite musicians and it sounds like pure joy to my ears! I hope you will feel the same way when you listen. I would like to thank my family... Belinda, Olivia, and Parker for their patience as I have been subjecting them to lots of practice lately..

Andrew Dickeson - The “Guitar Organ Drums” trio with Ray and Clayton is one of the most energised and exciting groups I’ve had the pleasure of playing with. From the first notes it was evident that this was something special – and it’s got better and better since then. I first played with Ray more than 20 years ago – and I was knocked out by his incredible talent and deep feeling (I still am). He’s one of those special people that inspires you to play the best you possibly can. Clayton and I have been playing a lot in recent times and the hook up is instant, everything always feels good - a real “team player”. This group plays with passion, feeling and
groove - always pushing each other to groove harder and play better. What’s more – everything we play is BIG FUN – it’s a joyous experience! I can’t wait to see where this group goes in the years ahead. I would like to thank Tomomi & Riyo, and my family in Australia and Japan, for their love & support.
